Neo-Alamethri

The Neo-Alamethri refers to two cultures descended from the ancient Alamethros civilization founded by their former servile clade of Ardent and Titan - they share a similar language and some cultural heritage - though the Ardent and Titans that have migrated into Ramul Ta have both taken different path, many of them taking up another culture.

• Slavery: Silnarian are in general, accepting of the idea of chattel slavery, and in older time were extensive slavers of beastkin. With the shock of the past century’s catastrophe and as part of the treaty of Cesinor, Silnarian have given up on the idea of enslaving fellow elves and now consider it culturally taboo.

Subgroups

The Neo-Alamethri are divided into two cultural subgroups.

• Yam-Alamethri
  • The Titans who took to the sea - with a seafaring and fishing traditions. The Yam-Alame, unlike the Titans of old, construct ships and sail on them (walking on sea bottom is not practical outside Arcane Seas).
• Ithra-Alamethri
  • The Ardents who refused to join their brethrens in Maktuvia and went into exile elsewhere.
