Character Request

This page records all kinds of character request you can make, which are a way for you to request request retcons and title addition to your character.

Types of Request

Title Request

A title request is a request for a title to be given to your character. It can be granted in response to recent IC event - or retroactively added to your characters as if they were always there, just that for some reason it was not active.

Requirements:

• Character must be Level 3 or above, and player have shown decent writing skills, response time and is recently active in server.
• Must not have requested excessive amount of titles for all characters of yours recently, and have a good track record of actually putting titles recorded to use. Also need to justify why they'll have / they had the titles

Examples / Type:

• Knighthood: One of the more common title, granting yourself knighthood in a country. Can often be retroactive - let's just say the character wasn't performing the duty of said knighthood.
• Rank Advancement: Haven't had the chance to advance in a organization through quest, but think your character deserves it (And probably have the level to prove otherwise) - you can request it and roleplay the consequences yourself once it is approved.
• Minor Political Position: If your character want a minor political / economical / social position, like head of a local guild, merchant association, or a staff of local guards (Note that guard are unlikely to be approved because it tie your character down to one place), you can also apply for it here.
• Minor Nobility: A claim for your character to be nominally blue blood. For character below Level 1, we still don't allow them to start in a position of power (For various reasons), however, once they hit the level requirements and have good justification for why they're a noble, one can make a title request and then be officially recognized as a noble by others and gain part of the privilege or respect from being one.
• (Landed) Title Claim: Claim to a county / barony or below only, no duke or above level claimant. This could be "rediscovered", or the character could always had the claim but recently had the power to do something about it. It will be granted if we believe the character can create an interesting plot involving multiple characters from having this claim and attempting to take it. A character will NOT be granted a landed title outright unless through quest.
• Personal Organization: A personal organization is a small scale organization with no more than a handful PCs involved, and is essentially something someone command. It is modelled as a title. This could for example, be a small gang of thugs, a small warband or even a bunch of employees you own. The Personal Organization will be tracked on the main character's sheet - who must be the actual leader of the organization with anyone else associated by rank only. (In the future, it might be moved to a dedicated wiki page)

Retcon

A retcon is to change the canon of what happened in a quest or event and make it retroactively the truth, to serves the purpose of making a more coherent or believable storyline.

Requirements: A good justification for why.

Details:

• Name of Request: Name(s) of the event you participated in
• Type: Retcon
• Justification: Why the event should be retconned (If other players participated, part of it will likely be retconned)
• Details: Enough details of the event for us to know what we'll be retconning and the scope thereof.

Player Organization Request

A request for a Player Organization to be founded

Requirements:

• Character must be Level 3 or above, and player have shown decent writing skills, response time and is recently active in server.
• Must meet requirements of having two+ players who participate

Notes:

• Requested Assets should be reasonable and worth no more than level of leader * 20,000 SP at the beginning.
• Starting services type must be related to the type of the organization and / or the profession of the leaders / members, and there can be no more than 3 to start with and it must starts at the lowest level.
• Membership should not exceed more than 10 person of reasonable power that the initial players / members can recruit.
