Guidelines for contribution
When to make an article
In general, do not make an article or add lore without approval from Ansari - refining is fine, modifying contents / lore content is not.
Cities / Locations of Significance
Cities / Locations of Significance is one of the category for lore we'll add, and is the main category one can add canonized lore to. To count as a City / Location of Significance, the city must meet the following criteria:
- Be frequently roleplayed in and used i.e. Salvainia
- Have a significant player organization headquartered in it Shaslandi
- Capital of a significant country in lore with landmarks Ulnoor
- Have significant plot events occur in current time in it, enough to warrant addition of a new article to keep track of them.
- Significant amount of players interested in the city and addition of canonized lore for it to be worth doing so.
Article Exempted from Splitting:
The Races article is exempted from the splitting that we've done for the rest of the wiki - because we expect players to Ctrl + F through it frequently and unlike the rest, it is not 100% lore content (Closer to 80%) and is frequently used in character creation as the first step they'd like to do. The rest of the article will be split as we expect player events / canonization to affect it, and they are more flavor focused.
Styling
Follow good web development practices:
- Avoid inline-style when possible, instead uses /styles.css
- If the styles can be reused, move it up a level
Import
DO NOT import any additional content from any other wiki without permission - this add a lot of bloat and we can generally roll our own with the metatemplate we have already imported.
