Kurannian
The Kurannian is a Macen ethnic group that inhabits the Kurannian highland located in middle of Ramul Ta, a relatively inhospitable highland mostly suitable for pasturage. Some Kurannian settles and live in farming settlements in fertile land - but many of them engage in a semi-sedentary lifestyles and pastoralism.
Their name likely meant "Lowlander" - although they're highlanders to most race, their name came about as the result of adopting Zamarian cultures in ancient time alongside their language.

Kurannian cuisine utilizes barley extensively, and incorporates other high-altitude grains like buckwheat and millets. Turnips and radishes are common vegetables. Kurannian relies heavily on yak and goat for meat and dairy products.
Heart stew and fermented vegetables and dairy products like kefir are a staple of their cuisine.
Spices are commonly used by the Kurannian - most of which are traded for from the Zamari, such as Arzidan pepper and cave chile pepper, bringing a distinctive heat and numbing sensation to their dishes.
Famous regional products includes spiced yak cheese, which is considered an acquired taste for many.

Kurannian warfare are based on usage of cavalrymen to harass enemy, and includes the usage of heavy shock cavalry - many of whom are armored using armor and weaponries bought from the Zamari.
