Aradzor is a small, mountainous country nestled in the Aradzori Basin, surrounded by the eponymous Aradzori mountains. It extends south to the peninsula to the south. The Kingdom are inhabited by the Aradzori people, an ancient people with a history as long as the Rastorii and the Midians neighboring them.
History
Aradzor has a long history and historically, reached its greatest extent around 100 P.S. when it controlled a significant amount of land east of its current homeland, including the modern city of Eki Lum and several northern Midian states in what is now known as Rastoriia. Eventually, conflicts with the eastern Rastorii and the Midians led Aradzor to lose most of its imperial territories to the east.
When the Siuian arrived in the regions and brought with them the Kozartism religion, Aradzor would become an eager adoptor of Kozartism and its most eager proponent - becoming an ally of the Siuian Empire and expanding into the Bay of Midia. When the Siuian were pushed back by Midians - Aradzor held firm to their new faith and resisted the Midians attempt to get rid of a thorn in their side.
Currently, Aradzor is a vassal of the Tilai Khanate after the Siuian Empire and its own army were defeated by the Kirigs. It holds onto all of its core territory within the basin and generally focuses on its own affair, maneuvering between great powers to its east to maintain its independence.
Government
The Aradzori government is led by a hereditary King or Queen who rules with nobles support who provide much of the military while peasants and merchants provide taxes.

As a coastal nation, Aradzori have a moderately sized navy, mostly used to prevent coastal raids due to historical focuses on expansion by land to the east. Its mercantile fleet is however, quite large due to its long shoreline and its merchant often act as middlemen between the Midian states and trade destination to the north, often sailing into the Arcane Seas.
