The Kingdom of Daihei (Great Plain) is a tribal kingdom established in East Ramul Ta, in the Daihei peninsula. The nation is poor and war torn, as the tribal kingdom is home to a large amount of bickering, warmongering clans. Generally, these constant minor conflicts are kept from growing too dangerous to keeping the state together by the current King, Lepo.

Daihei is primarily seen to the outside world as a savage, poorly managed frontier. The state is notable for its massive amount of home grown pirates, often heavily supported by the wide number of coastal clans and their leaders. They’re most prevalent in the Yor sea, and known for taking entire ships for slaves. These slaves are often sold to their neighbor, Irunia who uses them for labor in their massive magical crystal mines. Daihei is poor - but have plenty of unemployed young pirates to be, and is notorious for their piracy, which serve as an important way to supplement their income.

Culturally, Daihei is a war based society. Conscription is common practice by clans, and often done at very young ages. It is seen as a rite of passage. Individuals too weak to assist their clan are often sold into slavery. Strength is favored above all else in Daihei society, and arenas are commonplace in nearly every city.

Daihei has a reputation for being quite hostile to foreigners.. The notable exception to this is the capital city, which because of the fact it’s ruled directly by the king, who is noted for his attempts to modernize the nation by force, has by the far the highest quality of living, and the most friendly populace.

Daihei were founded by Red Oni exile from the Great Oni Empire whom escaped the destruction of their Empire in the Panguea continent.
